This software operates best with Outlook 2000 WITHOUT the Email Security patch installed.
On my computer, I use Outlook 2000 SR-1. Updating Office 2000 past SR-1, say SR-2 or SR-3 for example, causes a "security message prompt" requiring a user to click every time an email is sent from Excel to Outlook!
Without the email patch, Outlook 98 (97 won't work) and 2000 will allow you to send as many emails as you wish (in a row) from Excel without any prompt or interference. Outlook versions 2002 and newer, have this security feature built in. We'll get to the newer versions and a possible work around as well.
This article will explain what you need to know to use our software effectively and will be broken into the following sections - 1) General Information, 2) Determine what Version of Outlook Running, 3) Outlook 98 & 2000 and 4) Outlook 2002 & Newer Versions.
A great resource for this issue is the Description of known interoperability issues with the Outlook E-mail Security update at Microsoft's web site.
In a nut shell, simply get our free email Excel download and try it. It will either sail through the email list without a prompt or it won't. It is useless to have to click every time an email is sent (see image below), so read on if you are prompted.

Open Outlook, go to the Help menu, then choose About Microsoft Outlook.
If you have either of these versions and want to use our email sending software (without a prompt) but HAVE the email security patch installed, you must get rid of the patch. A great way to loose it is to uninstall Outlook, reboot, reinstall Outlook and not update it past SR-1. NO GUARANTEES FROM MoneyCops! Do this on your own. Please note I have successfully done this in the past. In fact, I may have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2000. I can't recall...
IMPORTANT
The above procedure will only work if the CD you are installing from does NOT
contain the security patch. Look at the CD for clues. My Office 2000 CD does not
have SR-2, or something similar, printed on it. In the past, I owned Office CD's
that were updated since the original release. For example, I owned Office 97
SR-1 and SR-2 on CD. I am not sure if Microsoft still does this, but look and see. My
point is simple - if your CD is a version which contains the email patch, uninstalling and reinstalling won't help at all.
If you can't avoid, or don't want to avoid, running this "wonderful" patch, you have another option if you are running Outlook 2000 (not 98). There is a Third Party Outlook utility available and it is FREE. I have never tried it, but it looks like it will work and it is compatible with Outlook 2000, 2002 & 2003. If you try it, please let me know how it worked at info@moneycops.com.
One other possible work around (I have not tried this either) is in Outlook, go to the Tools menu, Macro, then choose Security. Try putting it on low. If you do this, we recommend turning the Security level to Medium or higher when you are finished sending your emails from Microsoft Excel.
If you are getting prompted every time an email gets sent in these versions, there is a Third Party Outlook utility (discussed earlier) available and it is FREE. This is the only work around I am aware of that is both effective and easy to use. However, I have never tried it. It looks like it will work and it is compatible with Outlook 2000, 2002 & 2003.
If you try it, please let me know how it worked at info@moneycops.com.
Please download our FREE email program now!
The Email sending software will not function without macro's enabled. ALWAYS choose to "enable macro's" if asked. IMPORTANT: TO AVOID ANY PROBLEMS, DO NOT EXCEPT THIS SOFTWARE FROM ANY SOURCE BUT MoneyCops.com.
After downloading the file, simply double-click the file and a splash screen will be displayed. Click the "Browse" button and choose any place on your computer you wish. Then, click "Unzip" and close the splash screen.
